Lewis Bates Guest Teaching Feb 7th!

Alabama-born Lewis Bates is a software professional and mindfulness teacher in the Denver, CO area.* He has practiced vipassana meditation since 2012, primarily in the Insight Meditation Community of Colorado, and is in the midst of Jack Kornfield and Tara Brach's two-year mindfulness meditation teacher certification program (MMTCP). He is certified by the Search Inside Yourself Leadership Institute to teach Search Inside Yourself (SIY), a mindfulness-based emotional intelligence training curriculum. Lewis draws inspiration from the Buddhist teachings on the two wings of awakening - wisdom and compassion - and feels a particular calling to offer support to individuals experiencing the unique challenges of loving someone with mental illness.
